Restoring Arid and Semi-Arid Region

Nopal-Cactus Carbon Sequestration Initiative

Our Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) system initiative is developed to assist the government in creating the necessary enabling environment, developing policies, achieving carbon management, and carbon exchange.

Our strategy for forestry management will have host communities of these forests as inclusive actors in sustainable afforestation and mitigation of land degradation.

Stratus Consult Limited believes forest management, and carbon sequestration for carbon trade, will thrive when land degradation is limited, and we have created adaptation measures to enhance land restoration among many other initiatives that are critical to addressing climate change.

The UN Climate talks to COP26 in Glasgow produced a strong Paris Agreement rule book for international cooperation through carbon emissions trading in the global financial markets. Stratus Consult Limited and its international partners ITOCO are adequately equipped with the necessary tools and trading platform needed to actualize these objectives, in full compliance with article 6.

We take cognizance of environmental integrity, avoid double counting, and ultimately a clear pathway to ensure private capital flows into Nature-based solutions to actualize forest management.

Our partnership with ITOCO INC. has created innovative dimensions for reimagining nature-based solutions, with huge carbon sequestration mechanisms both for forest management, and non-arable, arid, and semi-regions.

Conservation and Management of Forest

Our focus is to contribute technically using Nature-Based Solutions to reduce the build-up of GHG emissions in the atmosphere and deployed Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) systems essential for a climate resilient environment.

Our afforestation program seeks to restore forests and help protect against soil erosion and flooding, which has become a growing concern in the southern parts of Nigeria. Our solutions are in the combination of tree planting, seedlings, and stocks with proven economic viability for sustainable development and environmental protection to avoid land degradation while promoting carbon emissions trade.
